Amanda Uransky

Lead Therapy Tech

Amanda began her journey at TLC as a Therapy Tech in June 2017. Amanda graduated from Louisiana State University- Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Delgado Community College. During her four years at TLC Amanda has assisted with handwriting groups, social skills groups, and summer camp programs. Currently as Lead Therapy Tech, Amanda plays a role in planning pre-k prep, marketing for social media, keeping the clinic organized, and stepping in to help whenever needed. Amanda is committed to becoming a pediatric COTA and helping all kids reach their full potential by improving fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and social skills. In her free time, Amanda enjoys baking, growing sunflowers, and spending time with her family and friends. 


Carley Saunders

Lead Building Blocks Tech

Carley Carley began her journey at TLC as an intern in July of 2020. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and was hired as a Therapy Tech shortly after. Currently working as a full time therapy tech she assists with planning activities for the Building Blocks program, social media marketing, assists in administrative duties, and steps in to help whenever needed. Carley has always loved working with the pediatric and special needs population and is thankful that TLC has given her the opportunity to learn and grow in this field. She is applying to the COTA program in May of 2022 at Delgado Community College. She intends to then continue her education to become a pediatric occupational therapist. In her free time she enjoys working out, binging Netflix, going to park, spending time with her friends, family, and her animals.💙


Angelina Sclafani

Angelina began volunteering at TLC in the Fall of 2017. Her enthusiasm for helping children and excellent work ethics gave her the opportunity to be hired as a therapy tech. She went to Southeastern University and majored in Kinesiology. After completing her two years of undergraduate studies she applied and was accepted into Delgado’s Community College Occupational Assistant Program. She will graduate in December of 2021! Being a part of TLC’s team has opened an avenue to express her heart warming personality towards others. She works as a tech helping plan the summer camps and pre-k program. TLC has given her a wonderful opportunity to explore her genuine love for helping children, forming friendships, and being successful in her journey towards becoming a COTA. Angelina enjoys spending time at the beach, working out, going out with her friends, spending time with her family and enjoys her favorite New Orleans’s holiday, Mardi Gras.



Michelle Nguyen 

Michelle began her journey at TLC as a Therapy Tech in October of 2020. She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s in Biology. She is currently enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Delgado Community College and represents the school as a delegate to the Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association. She will be graduating from the program in December of 2021! As a Therapy Tech, she helps plan activities for our Building Blocks program and our upcoming summer camp. TLC has given her the opportunity to grow her clinical skills and express her love for the pediatric population. In her free time, Michelle enjoys running, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones.


Julia Reggio

Julia began working seasonally as a tech for TLC in August of 2020 and was a volunteer for our past summer camp. Being born and raised in New Orleans, she decided to take a leap of faith and attend Texas A&M for her undergrad. She recently graduated with a bachelor's degree  in Recreation, Park, and Tourism sciences focusing on youth development programs. She is applying to LSU’s occupational therapy program and hopes to get into the incoming January 2022 class. In her free time, Julia loves playing with her dogs Hank and Nomad and being outdoors.☀️


Kala Thomas


Kala began working at TLC as a therapy tech in March 2021. She was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Delgado Community College with an associates degree in general studies with a concentration in biological sciences in 2020. She has worked with children since the age of 16. Although she is newer to TLC, she loves working with the kids each week and helping them to develop new skills. In the future she plans on continuing her education to become an ultrasound tech. She recently got engaged to her fiancé Zach and they have a kitten named Toby. In her free time, Kala likes to do pilates, and loves using essential oils in her home! 


Ashley Stall


Ashley began her journey at TLC as a volunteer in December of 2020. She will be a Junior at LSU in the fall and is majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Psychology. She hopes to one day obtain her doctorate in occupational therapy and work with the pediatric population. Ashley became a therapy tech in May of 2021 and currently helps with the Building Blocks program. TLC has given her the opportunity to grow in her knowledge and love of OT. In her free time, Ashley enjoys exercising, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends!


Sydney Artigues


Sydney began as a volunteer at TLC in January of 2021 and recently became a tech in May. Sydney was born and raised in New Orleans. She is a recent graduate of LSU and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She is applying to LSU’s occupational therapy program and hopes to get accepted for the upcoming January 2022 class. She really enjoys her time at TLC. She feels like she has learned so much about pediatric therapy and hopes to one day work in the pediatric field. In her free time, Sydney enjoys running and going on trips to the beach!
