Meet the TLC Team

Cinthia Alvarez

Administrator

Cinthia began her journey at TLC in October of 2018. She helps with invoicing, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and answering the phone at the front desk at our Metairie location. Cinthia loves creating a relationship with our playful clients and wonderful parents! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her little boy. 

Margaret Piazza 

Administrative and Programs Assistant

Margaret Piazza began her journey at TLC working as an Administrative and Programs Assistant in May 2021. She is a retired science teacher, providing education to junior high and high schoolers for 33 years. Currently, she is handling the administration needs for our groups/programs and assisting our therapists as needed. Margaret loves to read, go on walks, and spend time with her 3 dogs and family. Fun fact, now she gets to spend more time with one of her daughters, Mia, an occupational therapist here - TLC is truly one big family!

Brianna Altman 

Administrative Billing Assistant

Brianna began working with TLC in August of 2022 as an administrative assistant. She moved to New Orleans after graduating from William Carey University and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at NOBTS. Outside of the office, Brianna loves reading Jane Austen novels, watching The Great British Baking Show, and spending time with family and friends.

Carley Saunders

Lead Building Blocks Therapy Tech - Elmwood

Carley Carley began her journey at TLC as an intern in July of 2020. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and was hired as a Therapy Tech shortly after. Currently working as a full time therapy tech she assists with planning activities for the Building Blocks program, social media marketing, assists in administrative duties, and steps in to help whenever needed. Carley has always loved working with the pediatric and special needs population and is thankful that TLC has given her the opportunity to learn and grow in this field. She is applying to the COTA program in May of 2022 at Delgado Community College. She intends to then continue her education to become a pediatric occupational therapist. In her free time she enjoys working out, binging Netflix, going to park, spending time with her friends, family, and her animals.

Katherine Baudry

Lead Building Blocks Therapy Tech - Metairie

 

Katherine started volunteering at TLC in March of 2021 and was hired as a Therapy Tech in June of 2021. She recently graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Delgado Community College. She loves working at TLC and spending so much time with the kids. She is excited to begin working as a pediatric COTA. In her free time, Katherine loves painting, exercising, and hanging out with friends and family.

Libby DiGiovanni

Lead Talkin' Toddlers Therapy Tech

 

Libby began her journey at TLC in October of 2021. She will graduate from Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge with her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sciences and Disorders this fall and hopes to pursue her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in fall of 2022. Libby works with our Talkin’ Toddlers program daily and loves to see the smiles on TLC’s kiddos. She finds fulfillment in challenging the children she works with everyday and aspires to touch the life of each child. In her spare time, Libby loves relaxing with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two dogs.

Hayley Morgan

Therapy Tech

 

Hayley began her journey at TLC as a therapy tech in June of 2019. Hayley graduated from Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 2021. She is currently a Speech-Language Pathology student at LSUHSC New Orleans. Being a part of TLC has given her great experiences and has grown her love for the pediatric population. Hayley currently helps out with seasonal programs, social skills groups, and helps with social media posts. In her free time, she loves being outside, working out and spending time with friends and family.

Sophie Sevin

Therapy Tech

 

Sophie began her journey at TLC in June of 2019. Sophie graduated from Louisiana State University- Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 2021. She is currently a Speech-Language Pathology student at LSUHSC New Orleans. Sophie has always been interested in working with the pediatric and special needs population. Being a part of the TLC family has given her the opportunity to flourish and gain experience in this field. Sophie currently helps with seasonal programs, tutoring, and social skills groups. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Kala Thomas

Therapy Tech

 

Kala began working at TLC as a therapy tech in March 2021. She was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Delgado Community College with an associates degree in general studies with a concentration in biological sciences in 2020. She has worked with children since the age of 16. Although she is newer to TLC, she loves working with the kids each week and helping them to develop new skills. In the future she plans on continuing her education to become an ultrasound tech. She recently got engaged to her fiancé Zach and they have a kitten named Toby. In her free time, Kala likes to do pilates, and loves using essential oils in her home!

Kacie Dennis

Therapy Tech

 

Kacie began her journey at TLC in June 2022. Kacie graduated from Louisiana State University- Baton Rouge in Communication Disorders in 2022 and hopes to pursue her masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in Fall 2023. She has always loved working with the pediatric community and being a part of TLC has given her plenty of hands on experience and helped her become more in love with a career in pediatrics. Kacie currently assists with seasonal programs, Building Blocks, Talkin’ Toddlers, and Social Skills groups. In her free time, she loves being with her dog, spending time with family and friends, and exercising.
