    Jenny is originally from Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation services. She then went on to earn her master's degree from Texas Woman's University in Houston. Jenny has worked as an occupational therapist for 26 years in a variety of practice areas, including mental health, brain injury rehabilitation, ergonomics, and pediatrics, where she has truly found her calling. She has worked extensively with children at Children's Hospital, as an Early Steps provider, in schools, and at our outpatient clinic. Her pediatric specialties include infant, toddler, and child feeding, sensory processing, handwriting, reflex integration, and behavior regulation. As a Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business graduate, Jefferson Chamber, and Entrepreneurs Organization member, Jenny spends a lot of time learning about the ins and outs of operating a successful business. Jenny enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, Johnny, and two teenage daughters, Jordan and Jillian, as well as her Westie, Ollie. During her free time, you can find her cheering on the Saints and LSU Tigers, traveling to places where she can put her toes in the sand, and exploring the various New Orleans cuisines. Fun fact about Jenny is that she is an avid Lego collector.

    Alex graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science from USM. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Alex believes in making therapy as fun as possible while also incorporating evidence-based practice into each treatment session. She loves working closely with families to ensure that every child is reaching their full potential. Alex has received continuing education in feeding therapy and reflex integration. In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time at the beach, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends, family, and her dog Weezy.

    Amanda began her journey at TLC as a therapy tech in June 2017. During her four years as a therapy tech at TLC, Amanda has assisted with handwriting groups, social skills groups, and summer camp programs. Amanda graduated from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Delgado Community College in December 2021. Amanda is now a thriving pediatric COTA and Programs Director. She currently treats kids of all ages with the primary goal of helping them all reach their full potential through creative activities that improve fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and social skills. Amanda is also responsible for coordinating all of TLC’s day programs and holiday programs with the goal of giving children a place to grow and be kids. In her free time, Amanda enjoys baking, growing sunflowers, and spending time with her family and friends.

    Ray began his journey at TLC in June of 2022. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology before beginning his career in pediatrics in the Greater New Orleans area. His several years of pediatric experience include working closely with clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders in the school and home settings. Ray went on to earn his master’s in occupational therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. His fieldwork rotations ranged from ICU Acute Care to outpatient pediatrics, where he gained experience implementing child-led therapy through a DIR/Floortime model. Ray works full-time between the school system and treating individual clients and groups at our Metairie and Elmwood clinics. When not at work, Ray can be found hanging out with friends and family, playing with his dog, and spending time outdoors gardening.

Annie Reso, COTA

    Annie began her journey at TLC in February of 2022. She works at the Metairie & Elmwood location with individual clients, leads handwriting groups using the “Handwriting Without Tears” protocol, and is working in the school system as one of our school-based therapists. Annie graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then went on to graduate from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Delgado Community College. Annie completed fieldworks in the early intervention setting and adult acute care setting at University Medical Center, where she also works part-time. Annie has been a certified occupational therapy assistant for 3 years and is currently continuing her education to get her master’s degree in occupational therapy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Annie has 3 years of ABA experience and 10+ years of experience coaching gymnastics. Annie has increased interest in working with pre-writing/handwriting, reflex integration, and gross motor coordination. She strives to make sure every session is fun and engaging! In her free time, Annie enjoys cooking and spending time with family.

    Olivia began her journey at TLC in June of 2023. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology. She continued on to earn her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She began her career working as a tech with the pediatric population and has gained experience in her fieldwork rotations both at TLC and in the School System. She has an increased interest in developmental delay, feeding therapy, and reflex integration. Olivia is passionate about making therapy both functional and fun and is excited to continue her career here at TLC! In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, being active outdoors, and traveling.
